Fundraising

Headway conducts many fundraising activities throughout the year and there are many ways you can get involved and support our organisation.

Rebuilding Lives Fundraiser
Corporate sponsor opportunities
The Rebuilding Lives Fundraiser is held each year in June at the Royal Hobart Yacht Club and has happened every year for the past ten years. This well attended event presents a wonderful opportunity for a corporate sponsor to support a charity and gain naming rights for the event. The dinner is hosted by a well known MC and includes a quiz night and many opportunities to win prizes through raffles and the Silent Auction. The auction attracts dozens of prizes up for bid and is the culmination of a wonderful evening at the Royal Hobart Yacht Club for Headway corporate supporters, family, friends and staff.

The Headway Annual Golf Charity Day
Corporate sponsor opportunities

The Headway annual charity golf day happens every year on the last Friday in September.  This event is in its 13th year and is popular with corporates with over 32 teams registering in 2007. There is a wonderful opportnity for corporate sponsors to enter teams, donate prizes and have a great day. What a way to start the AFL Grand Final weekend.

ANZ Blue Week
ANZ “blue week” is an annual initiative by the well-known corporate to hold fund-raising events through its local branches that each choose a charity or not-for-profit organisation to support within their respective communities.
The ANZ match staff donations for each dollar raised which last year totalled over $500,000 nationally being contributed to more than 230 local charities and causes.
